When can I sign up?
Any time. Since we are a year-round, perpetual program, we can take new students at any time throughout the year and any time during the month.
What if I join in the middle of a month?
You will pay the pro-rated amount for the month in which you are starting as well as the amount due for the next full month by credit card or cash. You will then go onto the automatic billing system for all future months.
Why is there a minimum of 8 lessons?
We have an eight lesson minimum because we do not feel that it is fair to your child or to a teacher to “try” swim lessons. Eight lessons is a total of 4 hours. We believe this is the absolute minimum amount of time needed for a child to adjust to the class structure and begin the learning process.

Why do you offer perpetual swim lessons instead of sessions?
We feel that learning to swim is a process, not an event. It is an ongoing, year round learning experience.
How long does my child attend lessons?
Our classes are “perpetual” which means that they continue indefinitely until you fill out a withdrawal form indicating that you wish to take a break.
How do I withdraw from my class?
Give us written notice 30 days in advance of your desired end date by filling out a withdrawal form. This form is available at the front desk or on our website. You may e-mail, fax, or mail us a withdrawal request. Please verify that we have received your request.
How do I change my day or time?
You can change days or times by talking to our front desk, email or via phone.
Schedule of our classes?
Many people ask to receive a class schedule. We change classes constantly to accommodate our students as they progress to new levels and as we register new students. Call us for availability. Give us the days and times that work for you and our staff will work to find a day and time that will meet
your needs.

Just once a week?
We believe consistent education produces outstanding results. Once a week lessons provide the foundation for learning that lasts a lifetime. If your child would like to swim more than once a week, please select an additional day and time. You will receive a 5% discount on the second set of lessons.
What if my class has only one or two students?
If a group class has only one or two students, as always, we reserve the right to consolidate that class.
When will my child be “water safe” or “drown-proofed”?
We believe that there is no such thing as being “water safe” or “drownproofed”. We teach students and parents how to love and respect the water and that they can never swim alone. Parents must always watch a child around water.

When can I make up a class?
As a general rule we do not encourage "make-ups". Our belief is that children are most successful in a consistent learning environment (consistent attendance, teacher, and peers). However, we understand that children get sick, families need time together and life happens! As a courtesy, each student may have 1 make-up per calendar month. These no longer accumulate and will expire at the end of each month. To qualify for a make-up, you must cancel before the start of the lesson. (If you call and are unable to get through to a staff member, please leave a message that you will not be able to attend. We will mark you absent.) You may choose to attend our "Friday Night Family Swim" instead of using a make-up. If your child has more than 1 cancelled lesson in a one month period, and you miss another class, you are welcome to attend our "Friday Night Family Swim" at no charge in lieu of the additional classes you have missed. Once you have scheduled a make-up"that is it! We cannot make up a make-up. Just saying that is almost impossible so you can imagine how hard it is to try to implement it. Make-ups can be booked up to 7 days in advance.
What happens during monsoons when it is lightning?
There is no county, city or state regulation calling for any indoor pool to close during a lightning event. Pool code requires that all equipment and things such as metal ladders or hand rails be properly grounded. While we do not need to close during lightning, we would close if there is a power outage that would be cause for stopping operations. MONSOON MAKE-UPS: If you are on your way and it is dangerous to drive or to walk in the parking lot due to heavy storms, please feel free to call and reschedule your lesson.
What about teacher requests?
Some of our students and many of our parents have become fond of particular teachers. We love our teachers and we will continue to do make decisions regarding where teachers are placed based on our effort to provide the best swimming experience possible for everyone. We are well aware that different students respond to different teaching personalities and we always try to respond to these requests. We will never guarantee a teacher and we will always reserve the right to change teachers if other considerations require it.
What is you sick policy?
If your child has a mild cold, come on down! The warm water and air will help him or her feel better. If your child has a fever or has intestinal distress (diarrhea, vomiting), please make sure that they have been well (no vomiting, diarrhea, or fever) for at least 24 hours before attending swim lessons.
